People with disabilities aren’t just seniors with creaky knees but persons of all ages, creeds, and colors who may need a little extra help to experience the Islands to the fullest extent. One in four Americans have some form of disability, so this may include your staff as well as your guests. Addressing accessibility is a journey for all of us, and no one comes out of the starting gate with perfection already in place. Through this page, the Visitors Bureau will share the resources we come across as we continue to learn more about inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility in travel and tourism. We’re also working to provide visitors of all abilities with the most accurate and up-to-date information possible on our website through an Accessible Travel landing page.
