San Juan Islands Photo Contest
Submissions are open for our 2026 summer photo contest from now through July!
Submit your best photos for a chance to win some fun local prizes. We're looking for stunning water views, wildlife encounters, scenic landscapes, sunsets, and other images that capture the natural beauty of the islands to use in our advertising and marketing.
Voting will take place on our Facebook page in August, and 3 winners will be announced on September 1st.
Prizes:
1st place: Three hour kayak tour for one adult with San Juan Kayak Expeditions
2nd place: Wine tasting for two at The Martian pop-up at Doe Bay Wine Co
3rd place: $25 gift card to Medio Cafe
Prizes are subject to change.
Photo Contest Rules
All photos must:
- Have been taken in the San Juan Islands, Washington.
- Be submitted by the photographer who owns all rights, or with documented permission from the rights holder.
- Be high-resolution, no screenshots.
- Include a location description indicating where the photo was taken. Contain no logos, watermarks, borders, or text overlays.
