San Juan Islands Photo Contest
Voting is officially OPEN for our 2026 Summer Photo Contest!
We received so many beautiful photos capturing the San Juan Islands, and now it’s time to help us choose a winner!
How to vote: Head to our 2026 Summer Photo Contest Facebook album and browse the finalists. To cast your vote, simply like or react to your favorite photo in the album. Each reaction counts as one vote. Leave a comment on the photo for one bonus vote! Voting is open now through August 31st at 11:59pm.
Submissions are always open! Submit your photo to be included in the next voting round.
We're looking for photos of stunning water views, wildlife encounters, scenic landscapes, sunsets, and other images that capture the natural beauty of the islands to use in our advertising and marketing.
Summer 2026 Prizes:
1st place: Three hour kayak tour for one adult with San Juan Kayak Expeditions
2nd place: Wine tasting for two at The Martian pop-up at Doe Bay Wine Co
3rd place: $25 gift card to Medio Cafe

Photo Contest Rules
All photos must:
- Have been taken in the San Juan Islands, Washington.
- Be submitted by the photographer who owns all rights, or with documented permission from the rights holder.
- Be high-resolution, no screenshots.
- Include a location description indicating where the photo was taken. Contain no logos, watermarks, borders, or text overlays.
