Board the ferry and wave goodbye to the rain

The San Juan Islands enjoy an average of 247 days with sunshine and about half the rainfall of the Seattle area, thanks to the "rain shadow" effect of the Olympic Mountains to the south. It's no wonder visitors are attracted to the islands year round! Check out the  7-day forecast for Friday Harbor.

Island Cam provides 24-hour, live camera coverage of the San Juan Islands including images of a number of the ferry parking lots. Get a glimpse of "island time" by using one of Island Cam's four cameras places around the islands.

Desti Cam provides 24-hour, live coverage of some of the San Juans' most famous spots along with live Doppler weather updates and satellite views. Check out the Orcas Island ferry landing, the Friday Harbor waterfront, Lime Kiln Point State Park, or Roche Harbor airport and get a feel for island life.
