San Juan Islands Sculpture Park

Don't miss this 20-acre outdoor park with more than 125 unique sculptures in a beautifully landscaped setting. Various trails are mapped and marked to follow on a self-guided tour. This park offers fun for the entire family—bring your camera and pack a picnic lunch. We have tables and chairs under our large tent during the summer months. Open all year round from dawn to dusk. A per-person donation of $5 is requested and children are free. Dogs are welcome! Probably the best attended outdoor event in the islands – over 30,000 visitors a year. A non-profit charity with no employees – all volunteer – and we love being able to bring this unique art form to the islands!

Sculptures are primarily by artists from the Pacific Northwest. Some are quite well known and by artist names you may recognize. Art is chosen by blind selection on an annual basis by art academics from local colleges and universities. You will find works here that may be tomorrow's public art and/or additions to private collections. All exhibits are well marked with artist information and availability details appear where applicable.

There is an ongoing friendship totem for all to sign and will be raised when filled with signatures. A photo contest is held each year with winning photos to be published on our website will also take place – professionals and amateurs are welcome to participate.
