SAN JUAN ISLAND PARK & REC DISTRICT
It is the mission of San Juan Island Park and Recreation District to improve and enhance the quality of life on San Juan Island by:
- Offering and facilitating a wide variety of leisure and recreational activities for all island residents including diverse populations and all age groups
- Acquiring, maintaining, preserving and protecting the recreational resources of San Juan Island including, but not limited to, public parks, playgrounds, athletic fields, trails, and open spaces
- Ensuring that recreational environments are physically accessible and program opportunities are affordable.
