Lopez Island Historical Society & Museum
The Lopez Island Historical Society & Museum, located in the heart of Lopez Village, features several exhibits each year that focus on Lopez Island history. Along with permanent First Islanders and Natural History and Children's Corner displays, you may see exhibits on farming, fishing, place name origins or island communities. The Lopez Museum also maintains a huge photo and document archive, where you may search for long-lost relatives or get information or vintage images of your island home. The museum is open noon to 4:00 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday, from May through September, or by appointment throughout the year.
