Friday Harbor Film Festival

A festival of documentary films from around the Pacific Rim that entertain, inspire and enlighten

October 25th through 27th, 2019

The Friday Harbor Film Festival happens annually on San Juan Island in Washington State and features documentary films that Entertain – Inspire – Enlighten us about the people, cultures, and environment that tell stories of the pacific rim and beyond.  The Festival’s six venues throughout downtown Friday Harbor are all within walking distance of the ferry.

Tickets will be sold in the form of punch cards, enabling the holder to see a specified number of films on any of the three days of the Festival. Cards may be shared with family and friends. This year the Festival will introduce the Student Film Showcase, a group of films submitted by student filmmakers in the competition for the Laszlo Pal Emerging Filmmaker Award. The films will be shown free of charge on Thursday, October 24 and on Saturday, October 25 in the San Juan Room of the Friday Harbor House.
