Stay in the historic Acanthus Suites, one of Friday Harbor's first important homes. Built 1913 as a wedding gift for a well to do islanders daughter and her new husband. It is beautifully restored to its original glory! You will find many design details, original wood paneling, coffer ceiling, crown molding, pocket doors, and area rugs over island old growth fir floors. You are invited to sit out on the spacious porch and imagine the history and stories it has witnessed. Please enjoy a picnic on the back lawn under our lovely curly willow tree, next to our Koi pond.
Our studio, one and two bedroom suites, are fully furnished with comfy furniture and all new small appliances. The cozy romantic bedrooms feature queen beds or a double bed.
