Family Art Days: Mythological Beings with Lana Hickman
Join the San Juan Islands Museum of Art for a free, hands-on Family Art Days class where imagination takes shape. Local artist Lana Hickman will guide children and their accompanying adult in creating their own mermaid, dragon, or unicorn, bringing a favorite mythological being to life through mixed-media collage using poster board, foam sheets, markers, and construction paper. The class is free for children ages 5 and up with a supervising adult, and all materials are provided. Preregistration is encouraged as space is limited. Saturday, October 31, 12-2 PM at the San Juan Islands Museum of Art, 540 Spring Street, Friday Harbor.
