Local Author Poetry Reading with Gary Thompson, Sam Green and Sally Green
Join us at the San Juan Island Library to celebrate and hear from Waldron Island poets Sam Green and Sally Green on the release of two new poetry volumes. Sam Green was Washington State's first poet laureate. Friday Harbor's Gary Thompson will introduce Sam and Sally and read from his own work, too. Sam Green's new volume is Sage and Disciple and Sally Green's debut is called Tending the Flock. Copies will be available for purchase.
