Hoedown at the Hangar

This is the 4th annual Hoedown at the Hangar --a live charity concert on an historic grass airstrip in West Sound.

This year's bands include Megan Diana from Portland, Oregon with her dream country vibe. Back for her third year is Darci Carlson from Austin, Texas, "The Outlaw Country Queen". Our headliner for 2026 is Barracuda, a Heart tribute band from Vancouver BC. We have an after party with Orcas' own The Studs performing in the Hangar Bar. There's a beer, wine, and cider garden and great food vendors. Kids under 12 are free and friendly dogs are welcome on a leash. Camping available on site. All proceeds go towards supporting four great Orcas Island organizations: Sail Orcas, Orcas Food bank, Orcas Community Resource Center, and the Orcas Island Wrestling Club. Gates open at 2 pm with Please Please Me, a Beatles tribute band on stage at 3pm and headliners at 4 pm.
