Orca Survey at 50: Let's Celebrate!

Celebrate 50 years of Orca Survey with food, drinks and an evening dedicated to five decades of southern resident killer whale research

Join the Center for Whale Research for a special evening celebrating 50 years of Orca Survey and the people discoveries and community that have made this extraordinary long-term research possible.

Gather with friends, supporters, researchers and members of the local community at San Juan Island Brewery for an informal evening of food, drinks and celebration.

The evening will begin with a welcome from CWR, followed by a short anniversary address, reflecting the five decades of research and looking ahead to the future. Food will be served throughout the evening as you have an opportunity to connect with members of the CWR community and live music starts at 6pm.

Tickets include two drinks vouchers and pizza throughout the evening.
