FREE Screening — Champions of the Golden Valley
🎬 Friday Harbor Documentary Film Festival's Best of the Fest returns August 21 at 7 PM with a free screening of Champions of the Golden Valley, playing simultaneously at the San Juan Island Library, Lopez Island Library, and Shaw Island Community Building — no ticket or RSVP required at any location. This award-winning documentary, winner of more than twenty Jury and Audience awards on the festival circuit, follows a former Olympic hopeful bringing homegrown ski culture to remote Afghan villages.
