An Artist Talk with Raven Skyriver

The San Juan Islands Museum of Art invites the community to a free artist talk with glass artist Raven Skyriver on Wednesday, September 9, from 6 to 7 PM, in the museum's Sterner Atrium Gallery. Skyriver, who grew up on Lopez Island, creates glass sculptures inspired almost entirely by marine life, trained under mentor Lark Dalton and at Pilchuck Glass School, and worked with the William Morris studio team before establishing his own internationally exhibited practice. His work is on view through September 14 as part of "Fluid Life: Glass Sculptures Inspired by the Sea".
