Family Art Days - Multimedia Zines

Bring your young artist to the San Juan Islands Museum of Art for Multimedia Zines, a free Family Art Days class on Saturday, July 25 from noon to 2:00 PM. Led by Alchemy Arts Center guest instructors Claire Waterman and Emerald Vernon-Lapow, this comic book-inspired session invites kids ages 5 and up to draw, collage, and paint their way through a mini zine — combining pencils, pens, and mixed media to tell their own visual stories. Family Art Days is a beloved community program offering hands-on art classes for children to enjoy alongside a parent or supportive adult, with all materials provided by SJIMA.
