Family Art Days: Mind Craft, Dungeons & Dragons Move Over!

Bring your young artist to the San Juan Islands Museum of Art for a free Family Art Days class on Saturday, July 18 from noon to 2:00 PM. Led by instructors Francie Hansen and Sue Evans, this screen-free, "old school" session invites kids ages 5 and up to design and build their very own original board game — devising the theme, crafting the pieces, inventing the rules, and taking home a one-of-a-kind game the whole family can play together. Family Art Days is a beloved community program offering hands-on art classes for children to enjoy alongside a parent or supportive adult, with all materials provided by SJIMA. The museum is located at 540 Spring Street in Friday Harbor. Admission is free and space is limited, so register in advance.
