"Parrot Kindergarten" – Free Film Screening | July 17 (Lopez Island)

The Friday Harbor Documentary Film Festival presents a free screening of Parrot Kindergarten on Friday, July 17 at 7 PM at the Lopez Island Library. The 2025 FHFF Audience Choice Winner for Best "Things to Consider" Feature Film, this 79-minute documentary follows Jennifer Taylor O'Connor and her Goffin's cockatoo, Ellie, on an extraordinary journey into the science of interspecies communication — a story of healing, wonder, and the surprising intelligence of animals.
