What's missing makes the picture — that's the big idea behind this free Family Art Days class on Saturday, May 9. In Mirror Shapes: What's Missing Makes The Picture, kids and grown-ups will paint mirrored compositions where light and dark, positive and negative space reflect each other to form a single striking artwork. Instructor John Nippolt brings decades of experience as an artist and art educator to this hands-on, eye-opening class for kids ages 5 and up. 12–2 PM at SJIMA. Space is limited — RSVP required.
