FHFF Best of the Fest — April Double Feature (Lopez Island)

Friday Harbor Film Festival's Best of the Fest presents a special double feature on Friday, April 24 at 7 PM at the Lopez Center for Community and the Arts — free and open to all, no tickets or RSVP required. The evening features two documentaries from the 2025 FHFF program: Sitka's Hidden Wonders, wildlife filmmaker Ben Hamilton's stunning portrait of coastal Alaska's hidden ecosystems, followed by From Sea to Shining Sea, director John de Graaf's exploration of the remarkable life of Katharine Lee Bates — the poet behind "America the Beautiful." A live Q&A with de Graaf follows the screening, with Lopez Island audiences participating via Google Meet. Sponsored by Friday Harbor Freight Lines.
