First Saturday Art Walks on Lopez Island
Evening walks in Lopez Village are magical, Sunsets over Weeks Wetland, boats returning to Fisherman Bay, and birdsong at dusk all remind us how lucky we are to live among such beauty. It’s no wonder Lopez inspires artists of every kind. That creative spirit comes alive during the monthly First Saturday Art Walk, a free, self-guided event in the Village beginning at 4:30 pm in the library. Featuring artist exhibitions and talks, stellar local restaurants and businesses, and plenty of people watching, the Art Walk is an easy, welcoming way to celebrate the island’s vibrant arts community and connect with friends and neighbors.
