Alchemy Art Center: Figure Drawing Nights

This is a freestyle time to tinker in the ceramics studio - come make some art, take a peek at Alchemy, and build community!

Come join us on the last Thursday of the month for Ceramics Community Art Night! Do you have a small project you'd like to work on in clay? Are you just generally curious about the ceramics facilities and Alchemy's 1255 Wold location? Do you want to hang out and make art in community with other islanders? This is for you!

This is a no-commitment, low cost way to get some artmaking time in. There is no formal instruction during community art nights, but we will have AAC staff monitoring and we can help you if you have questions!

Participants will receive 1lb of clay and have access to the tools needed for hand building.

Ceramics Community Art Nights are held in the ceramics studio on the original AAC campus. Raku will be held outside the studio. Raku firing is dependent on weather - no firings during burn bans or big rain. Directions and parking information will be included in your confirmation email.

Registration: Please register early if you are able, as it helps us to assure that programs meet their minimums in order to run!

Please note: We have our 2026 dates for this published and ready for you to sign up for! There are no Community Art Nights in November or December due to the holidays.
