Community Apple Pressing

Once known as the Fruit Basket of Washington, the San Juan Islands and Lopez have a long history of cultivating orchard fruit.

Join Kwiaht and the Lopez Island Family Resource Center's gleaning program for an early apple pressing outside the Lopez History Museum from 1-3pm on Sunday September 20th. Bring your own jars to take home juice, bring apples it you have them.

Apples not ripe yet? Save them for our 4th annual Heritage Apple Day on October 11th.
