First Day Hikes - Lopez Island, Orcas Island & San Juan Island
Spencer Spit State Park Lopez Island 1:00 - 2:00 pm
Ranger Mehgan will be leading hikers on an easy 1.25 mile hike on Spencer Spit's trails. There is one steeper downhill section for this year's hike. Please come prepared for mud and slippery sections. Bring a pair of binos! Leashed dogs are always welcome at Spencer Spit. For more information, please click here.

Join Interpretive Specialist Emily on a slow, contemplative stroll on the forest trails of Lime Kiln Point State Park. After enjoying the views over Haro Strait and breathing in the sea air, we will venture up into the quieter parts of the Park to reconnect with nature and ourselves as we ring in 2026.
