Lopez Island Indigenous Celebration Day - Partner event with Coast Salish Youth Coalition and Lopez Island Family Resource Center

Saturday, August 23, 2025, All Day - Odlin County Park

All are invited to gather in community for the Lopez Island Indigenous Celebration Day on Saturday, August 23rd, 2025, a powerful day of cultural sharing, honoring Coast Salish traditions, and celebrating Indigenous presence, past and present. Hosted by the Coast Salish Youth Coalition and the Lopez Island Family Resource Center, this event is free and open to all.

Enjoy a full day of food, vendors, cultural demonstrations, singing, dancing, stories, crafts, and canoe rides, with scheduled activities including a community lunch, craft workshops, and an opening protocol ceremony. Throughout the day, Indigenous artists, storytellers, and vendors will share their gifts and knowledge with the community.
