Desolation Sound is an original rock band comprised of 4 Friday Harbor locals. Scott Sluis - Drums, Darvis Taylor - Bass, Tom Henry - Guitar & Daniel DeShon - Vocals, Guitar. In 2022 the band released their debut LP “Salish Rock” on Robo Jack Records. That was followed quickly with their sophomore effort 2023’s “Silver Rain”.
The band plays a dynamic, high energy performance with choice covers sprinkled in throughout the show by artists such as Snow Patrol, Bowie, Keane and many others.
