"We're here to get your history and give it back to you." The Drawer Boy is about the power of storytelling in creating and interpreting reality and how it can transform lives.
It’s 1971 in Ontario. A group of actors are on an assignment to live with farmers in the Ontario countryside for a few weeks and gather their stories for a collective performance.
While humor abounds, the play is a sensitive look at the stories we tell and the truths that will not be silenced.
Dress warmly and bring a blanket. Seating provided. No latecomers, please.
