01/25/2012 The Whale Museum’s 2012 Marine Naturalist Training Program
The Whale Museum is currently accepting registrations for its Marine Naturalist Training Program. This course is endorsed by the Pacific Whale Watch Association. Dates for the spring program are April 28, May 5, 6, 12, 19, and 20. The summer program takes place over six consecutive days from July 28 through August 2.

The First Annual Orcas Island Shakespeare Festival, under the sponsorship of the Orcas Island Chamber of Commerce, makes the island its stage on the weekend of March 30 & 31, 2012. Performances by the renowned Seattle Shakespeare Company (SSC) will entertain islanders and visitors, while local businesses and musicians will give the island a feel for life during the English Renaissance.
