Fine dining in the San Juan Islands means tasty food -- often locally produced -- served in a laid-back atmosphere (forget the jacket and tie). Many of the islands’ restaurants take advantage of the bounty from local growers, both for its excellence and freshness, and out of environmental concern. Welcome to Inn at Ship Bay on Orcas Island. We are a Restaurant and Inn at the top of a bluff with unobstructed southern views over the waters of Ship Bay, located one mile from the village of Eastsound. The Inn at Ship Bay is built around the historic 1869 Adam's Farmhouse located within an heirloom pear and plum orchard and vegetable garden. In our dining room and lounge, we strive to use only sustainable harvested seafood and antibiotic hormone-free meats and poultry. Great Food! In the mornings we have coffee, espresso, juice and fresh baked cinnamon rolls. We open at 8:30 a.m. every day. For lunch, enjoy an Islander prime rib dip sandwich, a variety of burgers, salads, fresh seafood, famous homemade clam chowder and fish and chips.
