Contemporary realism painted with depth and emotive qualities that remind us of our place in the world. Anelecia was grown and raised in the Pacific Northwest. She paints meditative and reflective paintings about our relationship with objects. Her quiet paintings of everyday objects reflect the passage of time...the used piece of soap, the crumbled up ticket and the stuffed animals. All these images strike a chord within us. Her paintings allow reminiscing about these special moments, in which time is fluid and moving.

Reception for the artist will be on Saturday, May 9th from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 23 at 2:00 p.m. The artist will talk about her recent works.

“What a way to make a living!”

Our spring musical takes us back to 1979 and to the corporate workplace with Violet, Judy and Doralee as they live out their wildest fantasy: giving their boss the boot! Nominated for four Tony Awards and based on the 1980 movie of the same name, the comedy is full of hum-making music and plenty of laughs as the women turn the tables on their obnoxious and chauvinistic boss.

Director Margaret Hall says the play shows just how far women in the workplace have come since 1979. “Those of us who were working at that time, really did experience such circumstances,” said Margaret. “In a very humorous way, the story sends a message of the importance of taking control of your own life.”
