Our home commands a magnificent, sweeping view of the Rosario Strait; Cypress, Sinclair and Blakely Islands; the Peapod Rocks; and the Cascade Mountains. It's a wonderful big sky and big water view that simply captivates. Few homes offer such a peaceful, private sanctuary, where each morning you will wake to the sounds of singing seagulls, spouting whales, changing tides, and the wind in the trees. Spencer Spit State Park, on Lopez Island, is a 138-acre marine and camping park. The park is named for the lagoon-enclosing sand spit on which it rests. There are many sheltered and unsheltered picnic tables, and two miles of hiking trails. The park has a reputation for excellent crabbing, clamming and "car-top boating."
