The Orcas Island Film Festival invites you to bring your chair, blanket and enjoy a movie night under the stars.  The film will follow music in the park featuring JP & The OK Rhythm Boys.

"We are very excited to present the first ever movie night on the village green,” say OIFF co-director Donna Laslo.  “Many have talked about it and it was time we just did it!  It’s going to be a fun night, with popcorn, special treats and beverages.”  This screening is a part of a Summer Film Series that features a film each month leading up to the main festival which takes place October 6 -9, 2017.

This is a film from Canada that tells the story of a profound, essential and until now, missing chapter in the history of American music: the Indigenous influence. Featuring music icons Charley Patton, Mildred Bailey, Link Wray, Jimi Hendrix, Jesse Ed Davis, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Robbie Robertson, Randy Castillo, and many others, RUMBLE will show how these talented Native musicians helped shape the soundtracks of our lives.

Upcoming Films:

God's Own Country Aug. 23rd
