Free, creative, fun projects for children and their families are at SJIMA. All year, we offer opportunities to learn and make art together.

For fall, in conjunction with Food for Thought by Robert Dash (September 27-December 9) FAD will take inspiration from food in macro and micro dimensions.

September Class Dates:

    28   Patterns in Edible Flowers-multi-media collage.

October Class Dates:

     5    Fish prints: scales and all!   Paint fish in tempura.

     12    Unusual Foods & Medicines-Draw reeds and nettles.

     19    Molecules for Foodies-Build molecular shapes.

     26    Food of the Future-Imagine shapes and colors in paint.

November Class Dates:

     2    The Starts Inside Apples-Explore in mixed media.

     9    Vegetables & Fruits for Every Climate-Create in Clay.

    16    Your choice: Design and eco-friendly food wrapper or dream up your heart's desire for Thanksgiving!
