Join us for a special night-time experience on the water. Bioluminescence (literally “living light”) is a natural phenomenon. Certain kinds of plankton emit a soft green light when disturbed. In the spring and summer months, concentrations of these organisms create a light show in the water below and around our kayaks. We schedule these tours with the dark of the moon for the best experience.

This tour includes stable, 2-person kayaks, all necessary kayaking gear, basic instruction, and guide service.

No kayaking experience is necessary. Total time kayaking is about 1½ hours.

What to bring: headlamp, water bottle, layered clothing to stay comfortable, windbreaker, comfortable shoes (we recommend against flip-flops),  an additional warm layer in your car for after the trip, cash for guide tip. Phones/cameras are at your own risk: waterproof pouches are recommended.
