Madrone Cellars & Cider is proud to offer a selection of European influenced Island Crafted Wines and Sparkling Hard Ciders to the San Juan Islands.

To taste Madrone, come by the downtown Friday Harbor tasting room Friday - Sunday from 12-6pm. Located at 40 First Street, only two blocks from the ferry landing.

The wines are made with minimal intervention, with a goal of revealing the grape, terroir, and story behind each glass. With a key interest in sparkling wines, owner's Shaun & Amy Salamida specialize in Pétillant Naturel, or Pét-Nat for short. Most all of Madrone's sparkling ciders are crafted in this ancient winemaking style, as well as the sparkling Pét-Nat Riesling and Cinsault.

Shaun and Amy source their grapes from carefully chosen vineyards in the Yakima & Columbia Valley AVA. In addition to sparkling wines, they offer a variety of aromatic, dry whites and bold reds.

A key part of Madrone is their Sparkling Cider.  Shaun and Amy want cider to be appreciated for its acidity, depth of flavor and food pairing capabilities. The cider is always dry, unfiltered and sparkling.
