Shopping on San Juan Island
Most, but not all, shopping opportunities are found in Friday Harbor. Start there and venture out to find country stores at the alpaca farm and lavender farm, before looping around at Roche Harbor. Souvenir items abound, but so does artistry in small and large form.
WaterWorks Galley is San Juan Island’s première gallery for contemporary artwork. Established in 1985 with the concept of showcasing artists based in the San Juan Islands and the Pacific Northwest, the gallery shows work of the gallery’s painters and sculptors that reflects the unique Northwest experience.
