In Lopez Village right next to the community center, take time to stroll the Lopez Farmers’ Market on Saturdays from mid-May through September. Not only a fine place to have lunch, but also a chance to pick up unique gifts. Here many of the island’s artists set up shop—handblown and stained glass, fiber art, jewelry, pottery—along with an abundance of fresh produce and seafood, meat, homemade jams, and herbal products.
