Our regional travel partners in Anacortes, Bellingham, La Conner, Seattle, Whidbey-Camano Islands and Victoria, B.C., have useful information about transportation, accommodation, restaurants and activities in their areas, so you can plan your trip easily and enjoy even more of the Great Northwest.
La Conner, founded in the 1880's, is a community listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It can be accessed by land or sea (via Interstate 5 or the Swinomish Channel) and is home to many unique shops and art galleries. La Conner is rich in art and history, with many museums and galleries to tempt travelers. A popular attraction is the local quilt museum, housed in the historic Gaches Mansion. Anacortes is the crown jewel of Fidalgo Island, easternmost of the San Juan Islands and jump-point to the rest of the world-renowned archipelago.
