The following member organizations can help you with trip planning and regional information.
The primary goal of PIRI, a 501c3 non-profit, is to support field-based scientific research throughout Oceania. This encompasses archaeological, anthropological & ethnographic studies. Our efforts are focused on some of the most remote islands of the Pacific, such as Raivavae, Easter Island, Papua New Guinea and in 2012, Pitcairn Island, home of the Bounty Mutineers and probable home land of the Rapanui people of Easter Island.
