San Juan Islands Scenic Byway

Washington State's newest Scenic Byway is the San Juan Islands Scenic Byway, designated in April 2008.  The Byway is divided into three segments: the first one-third is the marine highway route between Anacortes and the San Juan Islands traveled aboard a Washington State Ferry, the second one-third is a driving tour around San Juan Island, and the last third is a driving tour on Orcas Island.  Our new State Scenic Byway is overflowing with natural beauty, history, arts and culture.
