San Juan Excursions

Experience premiere whale watching with San Juan Excursions aboard the 64-foot, twin-engine, classic motor yacht the 'Odyssey'. The largest whale watching boat in the islands, the ‘Odyssey" (fueled by biodiesel when available) offers guests excellent, comfortable indoor and outdoor viewing with heated cabins, lounge-style seating, a snack bar, two restrooms, padded outdoor seating, and wrap around decks. We see orca whales on over 95% of our tours and if you do not see an orca, then you are welcome to come out another day -- free of charge.

Our captain and crew are fun and informative, certified marine naturalists who love to share their knowledge with our guests and answer all the questions you can think of about whales!

On this wildlife cruise we will look for the southern resident orcas, transient orcas, minke whales, harbor seals, Dalls and harbor porpoise, California and Steller sea lions, bald eagles and a variety of sea birds. Once we are out where we can see whales, we will drop our hydrophone into the water to "listen in” on the orcas vocalizing, and allow enough time for you to get excellent wildlife photos! We also offer free use of our binoculars and provide childrens books and coloring for the little ones. Singles, couples & families are welcome.
