Non-denominational minister Sandy Playa delights in creating a ceremony, written with your input, that fits your personalities and beliefs.

Your ceremony should reflect both of you, and it can be as simple or as elaborate as you'd like.

Wedding packages ranging from a sweet and simple elopement to a complete destination event, including music, flowers, lodging, food, beverages and activities for you and your guests.

All ceremonies include a one-hour consultation, legal wedding ceremony, and filing of marriage documents. Bring your camera and we will take some wedding snapshots for you. The sky is the limit! There is very little that we cannot accomplish.

Meet Sandy, wedding officiant, planner and consultant: Sandy Playa, a retired Park Ranger, has been officiating weddings on Orcas Island since 1992. She spends her spare time leading kayak tours, managing Spring Bay with her husband Carl, and hiking with her dogs. Her specialty is weaving together tradition and individual beliefs into heartwarming, meaningful wedding ceremonies.

Meet Carl, wedding musician: Carl Burger, a retired Park Ranger, began playing acoustic 6-and 12-string guitar over 40 years ago, developing a special flair for instrumental folk-style fingerpicking. His musical touch is ideally suited for helping to create a friendly, festive atmosphere, and his versatility makes him a quick study for most special musical requests.
