Brickworks Plaza

"Eat Locally" is a way of life for many residents in the San Juan Islands. The San Juan Island Farmers' Market features delicious island-raised produce, berries, colorful bouquets, eggs, and dairy products, as well as fresh local seafood, shellfish, and meats. The market also features freshly cooked and prepared foods made from local ingredients, grass-fed burgers, hot sausages, baked goods, pizza, crafts, and more!

The market is held year-round at Brickworks, in downtown Friday Harbor on Nichols Street. High season hours (July 4 – Labor Day) are 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Low season hours are 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The market takes place each Saturday from mid-April through October both inside and outside of Brickworks. In November and December it takes place on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month, and from January – April on the 1st Saturday of the month.

Brickworks is Friday Harbor’s newest rehabilitated historic site. The building was built in 1920 to house the Friday Harbor Brick and Tile Company. Today it is the last surviving industrial building in Friday Harbor, beautifully renovated to provide a year-round farmers market and event space.
