The 2013 Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival will open with the reunion of three magnificent musicians: Jeffrey Kahane, piano; Joseph Swensen, violin; and Carter Brey, cello. Three well known concertmasters will be featured together in one program – William Preucil (Cleveland Orchestra), Martin Chalifour (Los Angeles Philharmonic) and Margaret Batjer (Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra). Also performing this summer are Toby Appel, viola;  Stephanie Sant’Ambrogio and Alexandra Preucil, violin; Eric Kim and Lachezar Kostov, cello; Viktor Valkov, piano; and of course OICMF Artistic Director Aloysia Friedmann, violin/viola and Artistic Advisor Jon Kimura Parker, piano!
